Why OpenHeader?
After a popular header editor was pulled for bundling a hidden tracking SDK, developers deserve a tool they can trust.
No ads, ever
No injected ads, no upsell spam in your workflow.
No tracking
No analytics, no trackers, no advertising SDKs.
Minimal permissions
Header changes go through Chrome's official declarativeNetRequest engine. The extension never inspects your traffic.
Open source
The full code is public so anyone can verify what it does.
Privacy Policy
OpenHeader does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing activity.
- OpenHeader does not read the content of your web traffic.
- Header modifications are applied via Chrome's official declarativeNetRequest API. The extension does not intercept or inspect network requests.
- Your header configurations are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and are never sent to us or any third party.
- We use no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising SDKs.
- If optional Pro sync is added in the future, only the header profiles you explicitly choose to sync will be stored, and it will be clearly opt-in.
